Huawei Smart MA5626 Series 8/16/24 Ports POE Gpon ONU
Product Description:
The SmartAX MA5626 Reverse Power over Ethernet (MA5626 Reverse PoE for short) is an industry-leading remote multi dwelling unit (MDU) launched by Huawei, which, on a passive optical network (PON), facilitates power supply for Fiber To The Building (FTTB) installation in corridors, providing broadband network access for families and small to medium enterprises by using category-5 cables routed in the building. The MA5626 Reverse PoE is a box-type device measuring 1-U high and 11-inch wide, providing two GPON or GE uplink ports and eight LAN user ports, and is powered by the power sourcing equipment (PSE) deployed in users' residences. The MA5626 Reverse PoE is applied in scenarios where there is no alternating current (AC) power supply in corridors, featuring easy installation and maintenance, broad temperature range, low power consumption, mute design, high stability, environment-friendlily, and energy conservation.
PRODUCT FEATURES:
- GPON
Gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) is a one-to-many broadband optical transmission system. It supports GPON encapsulation mode (GEM). - PoE
Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables multi-dwelling units (MDUs) to provide direct current (DC) power, in addition to data signals, to access terminals over existing Ethernet cables. - Layer 2 Protocol Handling
The layer 2 protocol handling includes multiple features and also refers to link layer protocol management. This topic describes the features of layer 2 protocol handling in details. - QoS
Quality of service (QoS) is a network security mechanism measured by service availability, delay, jitter, traffic, packet loss ratio, bit error rate (BER), and signal noise ratio (SRN). Devices use QoS to provide quality guarantees for customer services from end to end. - IPv6
- Multicast
Multicast is a point-to-multipoint communication mode in which a source sends information to a specific subset of all network nodes. Multicast has multiple features. This topic describes the multicast features respectively. - Voice
This topic describes the features in relation to the voice service. - NTP
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) is used to synchronize the time between the distributed time server and the client. - Network Protection
This topic describes network protection features implemented by the system. - User Security
This topic provides availability and sub-features of the user security. - System Security
This topic provides the introduction and availability of the system security feature, and describes the sub-features of this feature. - Operation and Maintenance Security
This topic provides the introduction and availability of the operation and maintenance security feature, and describes the sub-features of this feature. - OAM
The operation & maintenance (OAM) feature is intended for the operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) of the device. It plays an important role in guaranteeing the normal running of the device on the daily basis, managing the device in the network topology, locating faults, and upgrading and maintaining the device. This topic describes the sub features of the OAM feature in details.
